Children in Chicago Struggling with Poverty, Hunger, and Homelessness

According to recent data, 20% of the children in the Chicago area are living under the poverty line, and another 21% of local children are considered “low income.” The result is that an overwhelming number of children in our community are struggling daily with a lack of access to basic necessities like food, warm clothing, scholastic supplies, or even a home.

Oak Park Insurance Agency feels that something must be done, and we are launching a relief campaign to help provide critical services to underprivileged children in our area.

Providing for Local Children

Oak Park Insurance Agency was recently given the title of Regional Ambassador for the #AgentsofChange group in Cook County. Our goals are simple: to ensure that every child in our community has healthy food to eat, a home to live in, seasonal clothing to wear, and scholastic materials to ensure their educational progress remains uninterrupted.

Thousands of children in our area are lacking one or more of these resources, and we can’t support them all without your help.

How YOU Can Help

To be part of this campaign, we need you to help us share our commitment to this cause with other people in our community. When you invite a close friend, family member, or co-worker to visit our team at Oak Park Insurance, it will give us the opportunity to provide them with more information on how we can help children in our area. We will also provide them with a free insurance consultation, and when they leave, we will make a donation IN YOUR NAME to a regional support program that provides resources to local children in need.

Providing a Helping Hand

The longer we wait, the more children fall between the cracks. Join us, and let’s provide a helping hand to children in our area in desperate need of assistance.

Sincerely,

Gary Longstein
